Quick Teresia update because a few things have changed and I want to keep this transparent.

First, I’ve made some edits to make the book a little more commercial. I know that phrase can freak people out. Let me say this clearly: it still has everything you loved if you read the early copies. The tone didn’t change. The heart didn’t change. I just tightened things and made a few strategic adjustments. The original version will still exist and will be available on my website sometime late next year as an ebook. I didn’t want that version to vanish.

Second, I’m currently waiting on feedback from my second cultural beta read. I’m hoping to get that soon, and I’m not making any final decisions until I do.

Third, I’m getting one more beta read. Mostly because every beta reader has said something different, and at a certain point that gets confusing instead of helpful. So I’m doing one last read to see if any actual patterns show up. If they do, I’ll address them. If they don’t, I’m moving forward with a line edit and calling it.

And last thing, which I’m genuinely excited about: I’m planning to do sprayed edges for the paperback. I may also do a hardback version. That’s not possible with print on demand, so I’ll be doing a regular print run. Which means I’ll be selling the book directly through my website. Very much in my own Teresia era in a real way. I’ll post as soon as that’s live and ready.

That’s where things are at right now.
